Duravit’s Xsquare Embodies Modern Elegance & Innovative Design

The XSquare bathroom range impresses with its striking, sleek design and chic chrome profile

Duravit’s XSquare collection is a bathroom furniture range specifically attuned to the modern, architectural design aesthetic. Designed by frequent Duravit collaborator Kurt Merki Jr., the eye-catching XSquare stands apart thanks to its strikingly angular chrome profile, creating both visual harmony and a bold statement.

Duravit has collaborated with longtime design partner Kurt Merki Jr. to debut the new XSquare Collection: a modern approach to bathroom furniture with striking design at its core. XSquare stands apart thanks to its angular chrome profile, which accentuates the edges of the collection’s vanities and adds a sophisticated dose of industrial aesthetic. Complete with mirrors, mirror-cabinet solutions, and storage cabinets, XSquare presents a design savvy and classic collection, true to the Duravit signature.

XSquare’s statement chrome frame adds a heightened dimension of modernity to its forward-thinking design. On the floor-standing vanities, the transition from frame to leg is seamless, exuding a streamlined look with original accents. For the wall-mounted option, the chrome profile is an extension of the washbasin’s corner, creating both visual harmony and bold independence. In each option, XSquare’s chrome frame offers an eye-catching, elegant detail that adds instant style to any bathroom.

Three new, special furniture finishes – matte light blue, matte concrete gray, and satin-matte aubergine – as well as the linen decor finish, round off the XSquare’s vibrant color range. 28 furniture finishes in décor matte or lacquer, satin-matte or high-gloss are available for XSquare, boasting ultimate design flexibility. Handle-free drawer fronts with push-to-open technology subtly highlight XSquare’s elegant aesthetic.

The sky is the limit for XSquare – both in terms of potential options and finish choices. XSquare offers various combinations and perfectly matches with DuraSquare, Vero Air, ME by Starck and the P3 Comforts ceramic series. The console washbasin vanity units are available in five different sizes (31½” – 63”) with compact versions rounding off the range for every design requirement. The vanities are available in seven different widths, along with the option of one or two drawers. XSquare’s tall cabinet and semi-tall cabinet offer plentiful storage space in widths of 16½” – 20”. Mirrors are available in five widths (18” – 63”) and mirror cabinets in four (24” – 47”), each designed to coordinate seamlessly with the furniture.

XSquare’s mirrors mimic the collection’s design language with a lateral chrome profile. The mirror features touch-free control of the main light, ambience lighting, and mirror heating. Also included is a new, tech-focused feature: at a luminosity of more than 300 lux, the mirror’s light tone can be continuously adjusted from 2,700 (warm light) to 6,500 kelvin (cold light). Warm light creates a soothing, relaxing atmosphere at the end of the day, while colder light is optimal for morning routines.

XSquare’s built-in memory function ensures that the required light color and intensity stays in sync when used frequently, saving time and adding an extra level of convenience. Similarly, the functional organization on the inside of the mirror-cabinets – with storage boxes, a board for accessories, and a magnetic strip for small accessories – is a new must-have feature for the organized, modern bathroom.
