Victoria+Albert is making a statement with their newly introduced products for 2017. Four new tubs –Eldon, Trivento, Vetralla, and Vetralla 2 – each has been added to the core product offering of free standing tubs. The Trivento, Vetralla, and Vetralla 2 are the perfect addition for modern and transitional homes and apartments. They are designed with small spaces in mind, while making a beautiful statement and providing comfort for the bather. In a category all on its own, The Eldon tub is a statement piece designed by Conran+Partners, one of Great Britain’s leading architecture and interior design studios. The Eldon’s back-to-wall design introduces a new concept in the world of free-standing tubs.
Innovation at Victoria+Albert is not limited to design, as it is also present in the technologies the company is introducing to the market place. The K-40 drain works just like a normal “click-clack” drain; however, if the depth of the water rises to approximate 15-¾“, the patented technology within the unit triggers the plug to open, avoiding a flood. Once the faucet is turned off, the “intelli-waste” allows the bath to empty at approximately 11-¾“ and then automatically reseals, allowing the bather to enjoy a deep soak. The drain is IAPMO listed and available to ship.
